Holiday Inn Express Manchester - Salford Quays by IHG

I would like to sincerely thank Ronan for checking me in so smoothly, and Yasin and Daniel for their excellent service throughout my stay. They were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional, which made a real difference to my experience. A special thank you to Yasin for kindly helping me extend my check-out by an extra hour, I truly appreciated that gesture. The level of customer service shown by these young men was outstanding. The room was very clean, the hotel breakfast was great, and everything exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be coming back again and highly recommend this hotel to others. Thank you all for a wonderful stay.

Stayed for just one night but extremely happy with the Hotel very clean the staff where all very helpful and friendly. Price was fantastic and far cheaper than hotels close by. Even include breakfast where elsewhere it was £10 per person, and both my wife and I agreed it was one of the best breakfasts we have ever had at a hotel and we have stayed at much more expensive hotels which charge for the breakfast. All cooked perfect and lots of choice hot and cold. Only reason for the lose of a star on rooms is no bath only showers not a problem for me but the wife likes a bath. Nice location and close to the city centre. If you are looking for a good hotel for a night or 2 you cant go wrong here. Thanks Ben

Great hotel with very little to complain about. It was well located, the rooms were clean and had everything I could hope for. Iron and TV in the room as well as tea / coffee and a kettle. They provide a basic cooked breakfast, pastries, cereal, etc. Evening food choices were limited, but plenty of alternatives in the city, there are also a number of pub / restaurants and McDonalds in close proximity. My only issue was with the lift and unsupervised children running around, preventing use of the lift. They also playing knock and run throughout the night. Whilst not directly the hotel staff's responsibility, staff did not say anything to them.

Great Hotel and fantastic location for Match day. Hotel was quiet and quite family orientated at night which was great. Breakfast was included and was very good. Spotlessly clean and peaceful at night. Would definitely stay again..

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! An amazing experience at the hotel! The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us and help us with any requests. They greeted us with such happiness at every encounter. The service was honestly second to none. The location is great, amazing views, lovely places to walk, close to so many amenities. The room was thoroughly clean, they even offered complimentary items if we had forgotten them. The breakfast was extraordinary! Tasted so good! And the pancake maker- what a great touch! Shout out to the staff working on the evening of 08/02/2026 and mornin of 09/02/2026. Did not manage to get any names but you was all wonderful!

We spent the night here to explore Manchester City and Media City. What a delightful visit. The staff was very pleasant. Good breakfast. The room is cozy and pleasant. Fantastic waterfront close to a hotel, a shopping center, and a media center. You should pay for parking on arrival.

We had a lovely 1 night stay here. Parking and check in went smoothly. Room was clean and modern. Bed was comfy. Breakfast was good quality and staff very accommodating for our party of 8. Couldn’t ask for more from a Holiday Inn.

It was in the perfect location for the conference at the Imperial War Museum. The room was very clean and had an amazing view. Shower room was well equipped and toiletries were lovely. Breakfast was very good. Staff nice and friendly. Area is safe and quiet with plenty of amenities in walking distance. The only thing I would ask, is if you could replace the hard, squeaky mattress?
